                             My personal thoughts:
At first i wasn't sure about this book. Most health and diet books i have read in the past have been boring and hard to understand. Haylie really breaks everything down and explains why we need to eat this and stay away from that. (I will never eat wheat and corn again! )
This isn't your normal restricted, calorie counting diet. You are given the do's and dont's, a list of foods you can eat as well as recipes and also a map of what your meals should look like for each phase (and what exercises too!) . She is really positive and motivating throughout the book. I love when she said that DIET stands for: Did i eat today as in:
Did i eat every three to four hours?
Did i eat within half hour of waking today?
Did i eat according to my phase today?
Did i eat enough complex carbohydrates?

I see dieting a whole new way now and I'm happy i was given this experience by shespeaks to be one of the first to read it.

Hello! I have been Mia for a while and I do apologize. I have had some things happen in my family and I needed to take a break from somethings but now I'm back.

I received this book complimentary from she speaks. I have already started reading it and I plan to start shopping for my food next week. I will be back with my review and thoughts. I might write a post when I'm halfway through the book.

Step 1 admitting you're fat

Okay, admit it we all do it.
                          What that is you may ask?
            Denying our fatness. Well at least i have been in denial.
I cant count how many times i have bought spanx,body shapers and other shapewear thinking i looked good. If you are over weight then you know what a bitch it is to wear them. You are uncomfortable,hot,sweating and in my case you look fatter with the body shaper than you did in the first place!! haha.

I finally had enough of it. I've had enough of rude comments, people talking behind my back. Ive had enough of spending countless hours at the mall and stores only to purchase a body spray or socks instead of buying clothes that i needed. Ive had enough of this stranger I've been living with.. that stranger being my body.I want the OLD me back and i will get her!

So far i have made baby steps but they are crucial steps. I stopped drinking soda. OMG when i say that's the hardest thing I've ever done (besides exercising) it is the hardest thing. I went through a period of about two weeks of the worst headaches ever and fatigue. I felt like i didn't know who i was but i was determined to be "cola free". Here i am now and i will honestly say i do not miss it at all!!!

Now the part of my journey i have been avoiding....my weigh in :/   
today i weighed myself...

 
 
There i said it. After researching online i found that my "ideal" weight range is from 129-to 150 lbs. i have pictures of me when i was 150 and some of me now. I have a LONG ways to go but i can do it!

So there you have it I've finally admitted it. i will be back once i get inspiration or when i decided what else i am going to write..
