                             My personal thoughts:
At first i wasn't sure about this book. Most health and diet books i have read in the past have been boring and hard to understand. Haylie really breaks everything down and explains why we need to eat this and stay away from that. (I will never eat wheat and corn again! )
This isn't your normal restricted, calorie counting diet. You are given the do's and dont's, a list of foods you can eat as well as recipes and also a map of what your meals should look like for each phase (and what exercises too!) . She is really positive and motivating throughout the book. I love when she said that DIET stands for: Did i eat today as in:
Did i eat every three to four hours?
Did i eat within half hour of waking today?
Did i eat according to my phase today?
Did i eat enough complex carbohydrates?

I see dieting a whole new way now and I'm happy i was given this experience by shespeaks to be one of the first to read it.

Hello! I have been Mia for a while and I do apologize. I have had some things happen in my family and I needed to take a break from somethings but now I'm back.

I received this book complimentary from she speaks. I have already started reading it and I plan to start shopping for my food next week. I will be back with my review and thoughts. I might write a post when I'm halfway through the book.

feb update!

Hello!!
I am sorry I haven't been updating everyday like I planned to do. I was actually blogging last week or the week before? ( I cant remember I've been so busy!) My son ended up getting sick and throwing up and once he was over that I had to pick him up from school because he had a bad stomach bug then I was sick. So here i am now.
Ive actually lost 5 pounds since i started my work outs which I'm so happy ! :)

Some NSV's from this week that i want to share:
1. Saturday i made 2 dozen cupcakes. I ate two then gave away the rest.
2. Today i made some blueberry and triple berry muffins. I tried one of each for breakfast and gave away the rest.

Day 6: TAKE THAT!!!

Today I woke up sleepy with a sore throat and lacking motivation. After taking my son to school I said ok just do it get it over with.
After the lunges in my work out I start to enjoy it lol I hate lunges! :/ haha.
then after my workout it was so pretty out I decided to jog/walk a mile. It hurt but felt good to be doing it. I will say it's hard breaking through your mental barriers. When I would hear that voice say "give up it hurts, I'm tired"

I would think to myself shut up b•Tch you can do this! Does that make me crazy? Lol!

Day 5: uh oh...

Today is day 5 and I didn't exercise :/ it was storming really bad with flooding. My hubby drug me out in this mess to look for an AC window unit,.ours broke!

If you live in TX you know what a scary situation this is lol!

 I did find my polar ft4 watch at academy I want it so bad! It monitors your heart and tells you how many calories you burn.

 oh! I said no to fast food today, ugh it killed me but I did it. Hubby asked me three times. Gosh I wanted McDonalds French fries and double cheese burger so bad! Mmmm :D

Day 4: I still made it!! (1-8-13)

It's been raining like crazy here! So you know what that means.... Lazy, lazy, sleepy day for me even my cat was laying with me.

 I kept saying oh ill take a day off but then I was like no! Get up and do it!
 



 

 I am happy that I stuck to my plan.

This is day three of healthy eating,water only and my biggest loser DVD.

I still need to work on my balance and planks kick my ass Lol!
